Summary
● Graduate in technical fields BE/ MCA / MBA preferred.
● 5 to 7 years Experience of the IT industry and experience in AWS and Cloud sales should be minimum 3 to 5 years .
● Preferred AWS certification (AWS Sales certified – foundation or business professional)
What are we looking for
● Adept in AWS Cloud consulting / Excellent understanding of AWS services / AWS cost optimization through a combination of factors to bring down the total cost of ownership (TCO) / Proactively creating a win-win for prospect working towards the common goal of optimizing the monthly spend on AWS for the customer and ensuring the optimal profitability margins
● Proven track record of independently accomplishing AWS or cloud subscription sales of 1 Million USD plus 500k USD services annually Preferably working with the Channel partner company.
● Good understanding of AWS detailed billing report (DBR), cost & usages report (CUR), good at identifying key cost drivers by analysing key services that could be optimized by leveraging core competency, understanding of Tax invoices for US and India/ AWS Inc. and AISPL accounts / Conversion rates / Dollar to INR / Dollar to Dollar/ Dollar to local currency billing for different
geographic regions.
● Good understanding of Agreement terms, Legal terms, Payment terms, billing cycle.
● Have a proven track record of a complete sales cycle / reaching out to multiple touch points to develop and foster relationships, Excellent probing / interpersonal skills in identifying the role of IT as a key business driver, good consultative selling skills particularly with respect to cloud and its inevitable adoption for all businesses going forward and the advantages associated
with it .
● Should have sold AWS Cloud solutions to end customers and possess basic sales certifications (AWS Sales certified – foundation & business professional)
● Should have good understanding of cloud infrastructure and should be able
to understand the customer requirements
● Should have ability to take discussions regarding cloud aspects with CXO- s/Application Heads at customer and articulate cloud offerings
● Strong knowledge on Account Management / Channel sales .
● Should have handled Midsize and Enterprise customer
● Fluency in written and spoken English with good communication skills
● Good to have knowledge on Google and Azure platform both or any one of them
What will you do:-
● Independently drive AWS annual subscription revenue targets of close to 1 M USD & 500k USD services Will be responsible for AWS cloud sales for the region APAC Market and setting up processes around it.
● Coordinate with AWS regional field sales teams to jointly take up prospect/customer meetings
● You will work with the sales team to identify advanced analytics, services and solutions opportunities across various domains on top Cloud service providers primarily on AWS, MS Azure and Google Cloud
● Work closely with regional AWS partner managers to source leads, market intelligence and get opportunities/deals ; participate in regional cloud events/trade shows
● Meet existing customers to unearth cloud opportunities and also meet new customers to generate leads & close deals
● Play a AWS Cloud subject matter expert / product advocate for senior Account managers.
● Should be able to independently lead demos of various AWS and Cloud capabilities to end products. Develop business case & ROI models for different customer scenarios to influence adoption of new cloud offerings.
